Why it matters

A festival can absorb a late vendor. A parade cannot absorb a float that does not fit.

The lineup is arithmetic done under time pressure, usually the night before, usually in a spreadsheet, and the mistakes only show up once the street is closed and the units are already rolling in. Karsenics does that arithmetic while there is still time to fix it, and refuses the assignments that were never going to work.

Ask for both lengths

Your application asks how much road an entry needs while it stages and how much it takes up once it is moving. Those are different numbers for anything that packs tight and spreads out, and using one for both is wrong in both directions.

Let it build the lineup

Karsenics assigns lanes and order in one pass, keeps apart the entries that should not be near each other, and sets aside anything it cannot fit rather than guessing. Every rule it had to bend comes back named, in red.

Lock it and print

Locking the order ends the drag and drop and switches to deliberate moves. Staging signs, the lineup roster, and the per-entry number sheets all print from the same board, so the paper and the screen cannot disagree.

Work the gate

Staff open one link on any phone and pick their station once, and it stays picked. Every arrival is checked against what that entry still owes, so nobody is waved through unchecked.
