The Community Growth Fund

We only profit when you do.
So 20% comes back.

Karsenics is a Delaware Public Benefit Corporation. In every profitable year, we set aside 20% of our net profit for the nonprofit and civic organizations on the platform — pro-rated by the registrations each one generates. The communities that create the value share in it.

How it works

How the fund works

No fine print buried in a footer. Here is exactly how value flows back to the organizations on the platform.

STEP 01

You run your events

Exhibitors and parade contingents pay a flat per-registration fee at checkout. Your organization pays nothing to use the platform.

STEP 02

We close the books

After each fiscal year ends, we finalize the numbers. The fund is funded only in years Karsenics is net profitable, calculated after founder compensation.

STEP 03

We set aside 20%

In a profitable year, 20% of net profit goes into the fund, divided across organizations and pro-rated by completed, non-refunded registrations.

STEP 04

Your share grows

Allocations accumulate for your organization year over year, rather than going out as small checks. First distribution comes after your fifth year, then every three years.

In plain language

The details, stated plainly

Twenty percent

In profitable years, 20% of our net profit — after founder compensation — funds the program.

Earned by activity

Your allocation is pro-rated by the completed, non-refunded registrations your events generate. More activity, larger share.

Built to compound

Allocations accumulate. First distribution eligibility is your fifth year, then every three years — a stake that grows the longer you stay.

Honest by default

The fund is funded only when Karsenics is net profitable. In a year without profit, there's no allocation — and we'll say so plainly.

Who it's for

The platform and the fund are for nonprofit and civic organizations only. No corporate or for-profit events.

Written into who we are

As a Public Benefit Corporation, returning value to the communities that generate it isn't a promotion — it's part of our charter.

A simple example

Suppose a profitable year puts $40,000 into the fund, and your events generated 8% of all completed registrations that year. Your organization is allocated $3,200 — accumulating toward your next distribution.

Illustrative only. Actual amounts depend on Karsenics' profitability and total registration volume, and are never guaranteed.

Free to run. Built to give back.

The platform costs your organization nothing. The fund is how we make sure the people who generate the value share in it.
